I am excited to be posting again! This time of year is so wonderful and special, but it can be so busy! We have had Christmas party after Christmas party, not to mention lots of traveling. My family just got back from Nashville, and it was a fabulous trip. If you need any recommendations, just ask me! I visited several coffee shops and ate yummy food, and I even got to stop by an old favorite in Dallas on my way through…Drybar. It seriously used to be my “happy” place. Roxy and I both had amazing job opportunities presented to us, so we are getting in the hang of that as well. That being said, blogging has had to take a bit of a back seat, but do not worry…we plan to get back to posting multiple times a week as soon as possible.
I love the rain and snow so much! I welcome them both! We have had rain a few times, but snow has yet to make an appearance. It is supposed to be here tomorrow though, and I am thrilled! I get out my Hunter boots for both occasions. Plus, I feel like Santa in my big red boots! Christmas season just feels right with snow on the ground. Honestly, I cannot believe Christmas is a little over a week away. I want to soak up every second. My toddler, Brice, is only two, but I am already enjoying explaining the nativity scene and the true meaning to him. He talks about baby Jesus, and it is beyond precious. I am extremely thankful for my sweet little family of four, and this time off year helps me to really take it all in. I plan on spending this next week drinking hot cocoa, seeing all the Christmas lights humanly possible, playing games with my family, attending our Christmas Eve service at Summit Church and much more! If you do not have a church home, then join us at 5:30pm on Christmas Eve at Summit Church in Canyon! I hope all of you enjoy this special time with your loved ones as well.
I know that many of you still have some last minute gifts to get, me included, so I will be headed out to some local shops and ordering from my go to…Nordstrom. Tomorrow is Rock the Shops in Canyon, so if you are from around here, come out for the sales! You can come see me at 79 Salt for 20% off all clothing. 🙂
Makayla made this outfit shoot so much fun, Roxy and I just played around in the puddles like a bunch of kids! It is nice to just let loose and have fun. She got some really neat shots. Both pairs of Hunter boots were purchased at Nordstrom. Our looks are good casual wear. I linked a few of the pieces below!
